During the YMCA of Pawtucket 121st Annual Meeting at the Pawtucket Country Club on Monday night, February 7, 2011, 2010 Volunteer of the Year Winner James Anderson, who received the award for his volunteer work to save the earthern dam that contains the Quidnick Reservoir following three significant rainstorms in the spring of 2010, shrugged his shoulders and quipped "It was a team effort. (And as) a fifty year old, I got to play in the mud!", as YMCA Board of Directors President Susan Reed, left, and YMCA General Director Esselton McNulty look on. Butch Adams/The Times.
