PAWTUCKET (AP) — Pawtucket police are investigating the shooting of two men at a local gas station.
Police say they responded to a report of shots fired at a Sunoco station on School Street shortly before 4 a.m. Sunday. But the victims were gone by the time officers arrived.
Authorities say the two men later showed up at different hospitals seeking treatment for gunshot wounds that were not life-threatening.
The men's names haven't been released. It's not clear why they were shot.
Police are looking for several cars seen around the gas station at the time of the shooting.
