SEEKONK - Stanley Kogut 62, passed away Tuesday September 10, 2013 at his home. He was the beloved husband of Sheryl A. (Minasian) Kogut.
Born in Poland he was a son of Waleria (Wegiel) Kogut and the late Pawel Kogut. He lived in Seekonk for the past year and was formerly of Central Falls and Pawtucket.
Stanley was employed in the job of his dreams for the past 12 years as a Grounds Keeper for Pawtucket Country Club. Prior to that he was employed as a Jewelry Polisher for 30 years.
Besides his beloved wife he leaves six loving children, four daughters Chrissy Bolieiro of Taunton, Stacie Kogut and her companion Jon Montoya of Pawtucket, Stephanie Kogut and Sarah Kogut both of Seekonk, two sons Stanley Kogut Jr. of Central Falls and Nicholas Kogut and his companion Heidi Eddy of Taunton. He also leaves six devoted sisters and brothers, Teresa Garstka and her husband Bronislaw of Central Falls, Janina Krupka and her husband Eugenius of Woonsocket, Anna Spano and her husband Jay of Seekonk, Charles Kogut and his wife Pelagia of Poland, Joseph Kogut and his wife Ursula and Chester Kogut and his wife Gabrielle all of Seekonk. Stanley was the cherished grandfather of thirteen grandchildren, Jordan, Jovanni, Sophia, Stanley III, Skylah, Ashley, Alexis, Alyssa, Arianna, Lillian, Kammi, Marlayna and Sara. He also leaves three Godchildren Elizabeth Rasombath of Woonsocket, Andrew Krupka Jr. of Coventry and Elizabeth Courtemanche of Seekonk, nieces and nephews.
Mr. Kogut's funeral will be held Friday September 13, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. from the Karol A. Romenski & Sons Funeral home 342 High Street Central Falls with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Josephs Church 391 High Street Central Falls at 11:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend. CALLING HOURS THURSDAY FROM 4:00 PM TO 7:00 PM. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
