PAWTUCKET - Rose Marie Giannini, 91, died Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Elmhurst Extended Care, Providence. Rose was born in Pawtucket, the daughter of the late William and Carmina (Morelli) Giannini and was a lifelong resident of the Blackstone Valley. Rose was a graduate of Pawtucket East (Tolman) High School and a congregant at St. Joseph's Church. She was employed by Conrad Jarvis for more than 20 years prior to her retirement.
She leaves a sister Catherine M. Cabana, a sister-in-law Jean Giannini and 7 nephews, Joseph, Charles, William, Raymond, Stuart and Roger Giannini and Michael Cabana and several grandnephews and grandnieces. Rose was pre-deceased by her brothers Joseph, Bernard, Charles and Paul.
Her funeral will be held from the Darlington Mortuary of L. Heroux & Son, 1042 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Family Parish, St. Joseph's Church, 195 Walcott Street, Pawtucket at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends may call from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. prior to the funeral.
