PAWTUCKET - Raymond E. Mello, 82, of Pawtucket, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013. He was the husband of Marie (Campillo) Mello.
Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Joseph and Agnes (Tavares) Mello. Mr. Mello was a navy veteran of the Korean War. He was the manager of the Pawtucket Ice Rink before retiring.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Helen DiBiase and Barbara Mello, two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Friday at 8:30am from the Costigan-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:45am in Saint Teresa Church, 358 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket. Burial will be in Mount Saint Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Friday 8:30-10:30am, prior to the mass in the funeral home.
