Rae F. Wynne
PAWTUCKET - Rae F. Wynne (Cahill) of Pawtucket died on Monday, March 24, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving wife of Raymond E. Wynne Sr. for over 58 years. She was longtime members of St. Teresa of the Child Jesus Church in Pawtucket.
Rae was born in Worcester, Massachusetts, the daughter of the late Hazel (Macomber) Cahill.
She graduated from the former St. Xavier High School. Rae attended the College of New Rochelle in New York and graduated with a degree in education from Rhode Island College.
Besides her husband Ray, Rae is survived by her children; Cathy Wynne Ellis of Silver Spring, Maryland, Raymond E.Ted Wynne Jr., and his wife Susan of Lincoln, Steve Wynne and his husband Joe Gibbons of Wayland Ma., and Jim Wynne and his wife Katie of Swampscott Ma. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Kathleen Ellis, Libby Ellis, Raymond E. "Ted" Wynne III, Thomas A. Wynne, Andrew C. Wynne, Michael Wynne and Meghan Wynne. Rae was the loving niece of the late James M. and Roselynd J. (Macomber) Heffern.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial for Rae to which relatives and friends are invited on Thursday, March 27 at 11:00 am in the Carmelite Monastary Chapel, 25 Watson Avenue, Barrington. Graveside burial will be in Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery, Pawtucket. The visitation period for Rae will be Thursday morning from 9:30 am prior to to the Funeral Mass in the Monastary Chapel.
