EAST PROVIDENCE â€“ Police yesterday released a description and composite sketch of the man they believe shot 42-year-old shop owner Yusef Aâ€™Vant to death in his Pawtucket Avenue barbershop on Wednesday afternoon.
East Providence Police Chief Christopher J. Parella said investigators are looking for a black male believed to be in his late 30s to early 40s, who is approximately 5-foot-11 tall and weighs approximately 180 pounds. He was wearing a camouflage jacket at the time of the shooting

Meanwhile, police are continuing their investigation of Wednesdayâ€™s murder, the first the city has seen in two years.
Parella has declined comment on a possible motive, but has stated that Aâ€™Vant was targeted by the shooter.
