Phyllis J. Niemiec
PAWTUCKET Phyllis J. Niemiec, 95, died peacefully at home on October 11, 2010, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Edward Niemiec.
Born in Hebronville, MA a daughter of the late Andrew and Mary (Kaczowka) Kowalski. She is survived by her daughter Patricia M. Skrydalewicz, two granddaughters Michelle A. and MaryJane Skrydalewicz all of Pawtucket. Four great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Oldest of 5 survived by two sisters Stella A. Bedard and Agnes A. Lonczak. Many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was the sister of the late Lucy Fedo and John B. Kowalski.
A funeral service will be held Friday at 9am from the Merrick R. Williams Funeral Home 530 Smithfield Ave. Pawtucket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Edward's Church Weeden St. Pawtucket. Calling Hours Thursday 4-7 PM. Burial will be in Mount St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory may be made to Home and Hospice Care of RI 1085 North Main St. Providence, RI or to a charity of your choice.
