Phillip J. Regan
EAST PROVIDENCE - Phillip J. Regan, 52, passed away Friday, November 23, 2012. Born in Providence, he was the son of Helen (Phillip) Regan, and the late Maurice Regan. Phillip lived most of his life in Pawtucket before moving to East Providence fifteen years ago. He was a graduate of Tolman High School and CCRI. He was a true outdoorsman who loved hiking, camping and mountain climbing.
Besides his mother, he is survived by three sisters, Maureen Orabone and her husband John, Meg Battersby and her husband Arnie, and Mary Beckett and her husband John, and several nieces and nephews, Kristin Vaz, Amy Aleksiewicz, Joshua, Rachel and Beth Orabone, Kim and Mark Battersby, and Kate Beckett.
His funeral will be held Thursday at 9am from the Costigan-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Saint Leo the Great Church of Blessed Pope John Paull II Parish 697 Central Ave, Pawtucket. Burial will follow in Mount Saint Mary's Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 4-7pm in the funeral home. In Lieu of flowers, donations to Amos House, 413 Friendship Street, Providence, RI 02907, will be appreciated.
