Mary V. Quinn
LINCOLN - Mary V. Quinn, 93, of Lincoln, died Sunday at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center. She was the wife of the late Joseph P. Quinn. Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late James F. and Anna (Connolly) DeGuilio.
Mrs. Quinn had been employed as a clerk in the Handbag Dept. of Apex Stores and later as a textile lab worker for Premier Thread Co. until her retirement in 1985. She was a communicant of St. Jude Church and a member of its Friendly Visitor Program and Women of Spirit. She was also a Girl Scout leader for many years.
She is survived by her daughter Jo Ann M. Mc Devitt of Lincoln; her son Ret. Colonel Dennis J. Quinn and his wife Ellen of Double Springs, Alabama; her brother James DeGuilio of Cumberland, 4 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Edward DeGuilio and the mother in law of the late Charles McDevitt.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 8:45 am from the Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Jude Church, Front St., Lincoln. Burial will be in Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery, Pawtucket.
Calling hours are Wednesday from 3-7 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary's memory to St. Jude Church Memorial Fund, 301 Front St., Lincoln, RI 02865.
