PAWTUCKET — Pawtucket Police are investigating a shooting of a city man that occurred during a robbery attempt early Thursday morning on Baldwin Street.
According to Major Arthur Martins, at approximately 12:10 a.m., Pawtucket Police were called to the area of 43 Baldwin St. in response to a shooting. Police discovered that the victim had driven himself to the Memorial Hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound to his hip. His injury is not considered to be life-threatening.
