Madeleine R. Duval
LINCOLN - Madeleine R. (Collette) Duval, 85, of Lincoln passed away Friday at the Memorial Hospital, Pawtucket. She was the wife of the late Joseph Alfred Duval.
Born in Pawtucket she was the daughter of the late Paul and Eva (Tougas) Collette.
Mrs. Duval was a communicant of St. Aidan Church for many years.
Madeline loved music, shopping, attending plays, but most of all enjoyed time spent with her sisters.
She leaves her three daughters, Diane Stromberg of Rockville, RI, Suzanne Duval of Attleboro, MA and Barbara Ayers of Cumberland; one granddaughter, Tracy Stromberg of Rockville, RI; one brother, Richard Collette of Westport, MA; eight sisters, Lorraine Whalen of Warwick, RI, Rita Stegnicki of Pawtucket, RI, Sr. Marie Pauline-Therese of Astoria, NY, Lucille Goyette of South Attleboro, MA, Claire Johnson of Cumberland, Elaine Lequerre of Coventry, Jeanne Couture of North Providence and Pauline Cloeppner of North Attleboro, MA. She was the sister of the late Raymond Collette.
A celebration of her life will be held Tuesday at 8:30 am from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in the St. Aidan Church, Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland. Burial will follow in the Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visiting Hours are respectfully omitted.
