M. Louise Langlois
CUMBERLAND - M. Louise Langlois, 98 formerly of Cumberland, passed away Monday in the St. Antoine Residence, North Smithfield.
Born in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Sarah (McCaffrey) Langlois. She was a lifelong resident of Cumberland.
Miss Langlois was a school teacher in the Cumberland School District for 44 years.
She was a communicant of St. Patrick Church, Cumberland.
She was a member of the St. Patrick Seniors and a participant at the Hamilton House, Providence.
She was the accompanist for the Cumberland-Lincoln Chorus for many years.
She is survived by one sister Claire D. Langlois of North Smithfield; one niece Mary Ellen Descheneaux and her husband Ronald of Arlington, VA.; one nephew Bernard Cartier and his wife Debbi of Cumberland and several other nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday May 24, 2014 at 8:30 AM from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in the St. Patrick Church, Broad Street Cumberland. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Cumberland.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Calling hours will be held on Saturday May 24, 2014 from 8:30 to 10 :00 AM.
