Laura A. Hardy
PAWTUCKET - HARDY, LAURA A. (KELSAY), of Pawtucket died unexpectedly on Sunday, January 19, 2014. She was the wife of the late John G. Hardy. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence B. Kelsay and Nativa (Bourassa) Kelsay.
Mrs. Hardy worked for the Pawtucket School Department for the last 25 years, most recently as secretary for the Title 1 Program and the Alternative Learning Program.
She was a communicant at St. Teresa's Church, Pawtucket, a longtime Mary Kay consultant, and a member of the Red Hat Society.
She is survived by her daughter Michelle R. Hardy and her husband Brian of Pawtucket, her stepsons, Kevin L. Hardy of Providence and Keith P. Hardy of Rumford and her grandchildren, Jordan Hutnak, Paige Hardy, Edward Quinton, Erin (Quinton) Erban, and her five great grandchildren.
Her funeral will begin Friday at 9:00 am from the MANNING-HEFFERN FUNERAL HOME, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Teresa's Church, 358 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket at 10:00 am.
