Geraldine S. Buss
CUMBERLAND - Geraldine S. (Taylor) Buss, 70, of Old Whipple Street, passed away Sunday at home. She was the beloved wife of Paul J. Buss.
Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Thomas R. and Ursula Taylor. She was a life-long resident of Cumberland.
During her early years, Geraldine was employed by the Pawtucket Credit Rating Bureau, and the Central Falls Public Assistance Office.
Besides her beloved husband, she leaves three daughters, Kristy M. Buss-Dupuis and husband George, Jennifer S. Ponti and Amy L. Borges and husband Frank; sister-in-law, Mary Taylor Bankosky and husband Dennis, best friends for over 55 years, Beverly Carey and husband Michael; and neighbors, Nancy Donnelly and husband Tom for over 40 years.
A celebration of her life will be held Wednesday at 10 AM from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122 , Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in the Historic St. Joseph Church, Mendon Road, Cumberland. Burial will follow in the Resurrection Cemetery, West Wrentham Road, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting Hours will be held Tuesday from 4-8 PM.
