Alice B. Gagnon
FAIRFIELD, CT - Alice B. (Guimond) Gagnon, 98, of Unquowa Road, Fairfield, CT and formerly of Carter Ave., Pawtucket, RI, died Wednesday at St. Vincent Hospital, Bridgeport, CT. She was the wife of the late Irenee G. Gagnon.
Born in Grosvenordale, CT., she was a daughter of the late Amable and Lydwin Dusomble Guimond. She lived in Pawtucket until 1994 when she relocated to Fairfield, CT.
Mrs. Gagnon was a weaver for over 30 years in the Blackstone Valley textile mills. She was a communicant of St. Cecilia's Church, Pawtucket, and enjoyed playing golf and cards.
She is survived by two sons, Richard E. Gagnon and his wife Donna of Fairfield, CT and Roger L. Gagnon and his wife Jean of Westerly, RI, four grandchildren, Daniel Gagnon of Brussels, Belgium, Michele Popeo of Swampscott, MA, Patrick Gagnon of Ridgefield, CT, Nicole Monahan of Ipswich, MA and seven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother, George Del Guimond and her sisters, Cecile Chabot, Laurette Debaene and Irene Gouin.
A Funeral will be held on Monday at 9AM from the CHEETHAM MORTUARY, INC., 1012 Newport Ave., Pawtucket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Cecilia Church, 750 Central Ave., Pawtucket. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Sunday from 2-5 PM.
