Albert J. Beaucage
CUMBERLAND - Albert "Jimmy" J. Beaucage, 69, of Oak Hill Drive, Cumberland passed away Monday, Dec. 31, in the Oak Hill Nursing Home, Pawtucket. He was the husband of Eileen (Lariviere) Beaucage.
Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Charles and Yvonne (St. Hillaire) Beaucage. He resided in Cumberland for the past 33 years, previously residing in Lincoln.
Mr. Beaucage was employed as a Sprinkler Fitter for over 42 years, retiring in 2005. He was a member of the Local 550, Local 715 and Local 515. He was awarded the Sprinkler Fitter Award at Perdue University, and the 1973 International Award at Perdue University for Local 715.
Al was a communicant of St. Patrick Church. He was a member of the Filibuster Club, Cumberland.
Besides his wife, he leaves two brothers, Morris Beaucage and his wife Alice of Pawtucket and Jean Beaucage and his wife Terry of Seekonk, one sister, Claire Valquette, and her husband Richard of Pawtucket, two godchildren, Donna and Marlene; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Gerard Beaucage, Lillian Lenartowicz, and Gertrude Tomassi.
A celebration of his life will be held Saturday at 9 AM from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberalnd. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in the St. Edward Church, Weeden Street, Pawtucket. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting Hours will be held Friday from 4 to 8 PM.
