Albert E. Deschenes
NORTH PROVIDENCE - Albert E. Deschenes, 75 of North Providence died Sunday at the St. Antoine Residence in North Smithfield. He was the loving husband of Monique (Berthelette) Deschenes.
Born in Pawtucket he was the son of the late Alfred and Vidola (Boissy) Deschenes. Albert lived most of his life in Pawtucket and moved to North Providence in 2006.
Prior to his retirement he worked as a Sales Representative for Famous Foods Company of Virginia for many years. He was an Army Veteran having served overseas.
Beside his wife he is survived by one son, Paul Deschenes of Glocester, RI; two daughters, Therese Hem of Pawtucket and Aline Uth of North Providence and five grandchildren.
He is funeral will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2012 at 9:00 from the LACHAPELLE FUNERAL HOME, 643 Main Street, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John the Baptist Church, Slater Street, Pawtucket at 10:00 a.m. His life will be celebrated with calling hours on Wednesday from 4:00 7:00 p.m. relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will follow with Military Honors at Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory may be made to the Special Care Unit, St. Antoine Residence, 10 Avenue, North Smithfield, RI.
