During a "Celtic Music for Little Ones" program presented by local musician Mary King of Smithfield in the auditorium at the Pawtucket Public Library on Friday morning, February 25, 2011, Liliana Ramirez(4yrs)(Pawtucket, RI) moves her arm like a snake slithering to the original song "I Hear" by Mary King(Smithfield, RI) who plays the bodhran. The music program was sponsored by the Samuel Caidin Fund which was established to provide arts education and entertainment fun for the children of Pawtucket. The Fund sponsors about a dozen programs annually at the library for the children.

During the Stitch 'n Bitch Knitting and Crocheting Program at the Pawtucket Public Library on Thursday night, February 24, 2011, Kailyn McDuff(Pawtucket, RI) crochets a pocketbook. Stitch 'n Bitch is a phrase that has been used to refer to social knitting groups which meet on a weekly or monthly basis at locations throughout the world dating back to at least WWII(1939-45) while their husbands were overseas. This self-lead group meets every Thursday night from 6pm-8pm at the library. New knitters and crocheters of all ages are always welcome.

Lefebvre Post# 1271 Commander Norman Lesieur(Central Falls, RI), left, who is a WWII Veteran joins Gatchell Post# 306 Commander Mo Trottier(Pawtucket, RI) who is a Korean War veteran, as Trottier takes a fork full of delicious spaghetti. The monthly fundraiaser spaghetti dinner with meatballs and sausage is open to the public the last Thursday of the month from 4pm to 7pm for just $7.
