Born in Lewiston, ME, he was the son of the late Joseph and Emilia (Therriault) Chenard. Brother RenĂ© died on the 70th anniversary of his first religious profession.

PAWTUCKET - L. Mildred "Millie" Hanley, R.N., 92, of Pawtucket, RI and Mashpee, MA passed away on August 19, 2014. She was the wife of the late Joseph M. Hanley. Born in Hyde Park, MA, Millie was the daughter of Willard and Lillian (Moxham) Barnett, and sister of the late Willard Barnett. After completion of nursing school, Millie served as a Navy nurse during WWII. She was employed at the Pawtucket Memorial Hospital and was a school nurse - teacher in the Pawtucket School Department until retiring.
CENTRAL FALLS - Gloria (Harkness) Bessette, 89, of Central Falls died peacefully on August 19, 2014 at Kindred Transitional Health and Rehab Center in Pawtucket, RI. She was the wife of the late Gerard J. Bessette. Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Marie (Vachon) Harkness.

NORTH PROVIDENCE - Michael J. Stevens, 38, of N. Providence, died Saturday at home. He was the fiancĂ© of Laura L. Stevens. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of James Stevens and Diane (St. Pierre) Stevens.
He was a self employed painter/contractor.
He is also survived by his maternal grandmother Theresa (Fontaine) St. Pierre; son Ethan Stevens; daughters Alexandria, Raevin and Isabella Stevens; sister Stephanie Stevens; uncle Leonard and his wife Katherine St. Pierre; aunt Elaine Bedard; nieces Madison and Makensie Stevens and several cousins.

PAWTUCKET - Therese A. (Roy) Morin, 94, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2014. She was the beloved wife of the late Lionel T. Morin. Born in St. Hughes, P.Q., Canada, she was a daughter of the late Aime and Aldea (Vandal) Roy.

She was born in Pawtucket, the daughter of the late Napoleon and Olivina (Carufel) Charron.
Miss Charron enjoyed her time at the New Horizon Day Care Center where she helped organize and participated in a wide variety of activities.
She is survived by her longtime caregiver, Muriel Chenail of Rumford.

PAWTUCKET - Constancia E. Vicente, entered into eternal life on Sunday at Mt. St. Rita's Health Center after an illness. She was the wife of the late Francelino J. Vicente.
She was born in Cumberland, a daughter of the late Alberto and Emilia (Marques) Santos. She had been employed at the former Andrade Braid Co, for 8 years, Conrad Jarvis Mfg. for 12 years and at Joyal VanDale for 15 years.
Leo S. Lavault
CENTRAL FALLS - Leo S. Lavault, 88, passed away Saturday, August 16th. He was the beloved husband of Doris (Beauvais) for 69 years. Born in Central Falls, the son of the late Omer Lavault and Roseanna (Hebert) Leeming, brother to the late Andrew and Sylvio Coutu, and Norman, Gerard and Roger Lavault, he lived in Central Falls for all 88 years of his life.
Their game on Monday night against Chicago's Jackie Robinson West will be Cumberland Americanâ€™s seventh straight on television. It will also be the teamâ€™s fourth consecutive appearance on the national networks of ESPN.
