Mary T. Slaby
PAWTUCKET - Mary T. Slaby 93, of Jeanne Jugan Residence 964 Main Street passed away Sunday May 19, 2013 at Pawtucket Memorial Hospital.
Born in Central Falls she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Sophie (Koziol) Slaby.
Before retiring in 1980 Mary was employed as an Assembler for Carol Cable Co. for 44 years.
For many years Mary was a communicant and active member of St. Joseph's Parish in Central Falls, and a member of the former Ladies Auxiliary of the Orchard Lake Schools.
Audrey Quinlan
NORTH PROVIDENCE - Audrey Carolyn (Wulff) Quinlan of Swan Court, North Providence and formerly of Pawtucket died on Sunday May, 19, 2013. She was the wife of the late Francis B. "Lefty" Quinlan.
Mrs. Quinlan was born in Memphis, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Louis and Anna (Scott) Wulff.
Thomas F. O'Brien
PAWTUCKET - Thomas F. O'Brien, 96, of East Ave., died at Landmark Medical Center on Friday. Born in Pawtucket a son of the late John J. and Delia A. (Flaherty) O'Brien.
Mr. O'Brien lived most of his life in the city. He was a letter carrier for US Postal Service for 31 years, retiring in 1977. He was a veteran of the US Army Signal Corps during WWII.
His only survivor was a friend, Noreen Sherys of Cumberland. He was the brother of the late John J. O'Brien and Winifred Gill.
Rose Sweeting
CENTRAL FALLS - Rose (Abraham) Sweeting, 94, of Eben Brown Lane died Friday, May 17, 2013 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late George Sweeting.
A lifelong resident of Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late Moses and Annie (Shabo) Abraham.
Mrs. Sweeting was a jewelry worker for Monet Jewelers, Pawtucket before retiring.
She was a member of St. Ephraim's Syrian Orthodox Church, Central Falls, where she was also a member of the Ladies Society of the Church.
Dr. Nora M. Walker
PAWTUCKET - Dr. Nora M. Walker, 87, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2013. She was the beloved wife of Joseph Parfenchuck for twenty-seven years. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Dada) Walker.

Rachel Monty
SEEKONK - Rachel Elinor (Cowles) Monty, 92, formerly of Ellis St., passed away on Friday, April 26, 2013 at the Linn Health Care Center, East Providence. She was the former wife of the late Leo T. Monty, Sr. Born in Northampton, MA, she was a daughter of the late Winfred P. and Jennie (Kentfield) Cowles.
Jose F. Furtado
PAWTUCKET - Jose F. Furtado, 77 died Friday at his home in Pawtucket. He was the husband of Maria L. (Botelho Medeiros) Furtado. Born in Sao Miguel, Azores, he was the son of the late Manuel and Maria Furtado. Jose came to the United States in 1980 and settled in Pawtucket.
Prior to his retirement in 2000 he worked as a machine operator for Elizabeth Webbing in Central Falls. He volunteered and was a member of the Amigos das Terceira and he played for the Holy Spirit Committee and Rancho of St. Anthony's.

Eunice M. Simmons
PAWTUCKET - Eunice M. (Oakland) Simmons, 96, of Salem, NY and formerly of Pawtucket died Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at the Stanton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Queensbury, NY. She was the wife of the late George F. Simmons.
Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Harry and Florence (Millichamp) Oakland, she had lived in Pawtucket all of her life before moving to New York 9 years ago.
Mrs. Simmons was a bookkeeper for the Pelletier Trucking Company, Pawtucket before retiring. She was a 1933 graduate of Pawtucket High School.

Stanislaw Mach
CUMBERLAND - Stanislaw Mach, 81, passed away Thursday May 9, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Stanislawa (Markocki) Mach.
Born in Grodzisko Dolne, Podkarpackie, Poland he was a son of the late Antoni and Maria (Przeszlo) Mach. He lived in Cumberland for the past 12 years and was formerly of Central Falls.
Before retiring he was employed as a Machine Operator for Ocean State Finishing Co. of Woonsocket.
Mary T. Plant
CUMBERLAND - Mary T. Plant, 86, passed May 15th with her loving family by her side. She was the wife of the late Milton W. Plant.
Mary was the daughter of the late Aborn and Mary (Burns) Snow.
She retired from the Cumberland School Department and had also worked for Ann & Hope of Cumberland.

Ernest J. Feuti
NORTH PROVIDENCE - Ernest J. Feuti, 75, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 12, 2013. He was the beloved husband of the late Janice M. (Banach) Feuti. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Alphonse and Antoinetta (Prete) Feuti. Ernest was a member of the Attleboro Lodge of Elks # 1014 and the Fraternal Order of Police Associates.
Ernest leaves his siblings, Eleanor M. Peloquin and her husband, Noel of Pawtucket and Robert G. Feuti and his wife, Roberta of Charlestown, RI and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Carolyn Duquette.
Jessica L. Alves
CUMBERLAND - Jessica L. Alves, 38, died Friday, May 10, 2013 at home. Born in Pawtucket. She was a daughter of John and Gayle (Vose) Alves.
Beside her parents, she leaves a daughter, Ociana Liberty Alves, a son, Kyle Alves, a brother, Christian Richard, a sister, Nicole M. Alves and her godfather, Daniel J. Alves.

Mary Berard
CUMBERLAND - Mary Gertrude (Davis) Berard, 88, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2013. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul F. Berard. Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Christopher and Catherine (Goodwin) Davis, she resided in Cumberland since 1955.
Mrs. Berard had been employed by Fram; the Cumberland School Lunch Program and Texas Instruments until retiring in 1988. She was a former volunteer at the Memorial Hospital of RI and was a longtime member of St. Patrick's Bowling League.
Virginia M. Smith
ATTLEBORO - Virginia M. (Herrell) Smith, 87, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 13, 2013. She was the beloved wife of the late Alton Smith. Born in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Charity (Brown) Herrell.
Virginia was a member of the First Baptist Church, Pawtucket, and worked as braider at Rhode Island Textile, Pawtucket, for many years until retiring in 1989.
Gilberta Amaral
PAWTUCKET - Amaral, Gilberta "Betty", age 81, formerly of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully Friday, May 10, 2013 after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was the wife of the late Antonio F. Amaral. Born March 15, 1932 in Pawtucket, RI, she was the daughter of the late Horacio and Gloria (Almeida) Andre.
Mrs. Amaral was a communicant of St. Maria Goretti Church. She worked for many years at A.T. Cross before retiring in 1994.

PAWTUCKET - Carl W. Schmidt, 75, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 10, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Velma (Barrie) Schmidt for 56 years. Born in Central Falls, he was the son of Calvin C. and Edith "Molly" M. (Sumner) Feld of East Providence.
Grace P. Roy
PAWTUCKET - Grace P. (Foley) Roy, 77, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2013. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Roy. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late John J. and Grace M. (Grant) Foley.
Grace was the Activities Director at the former Rose Cottage Nursing Home, Central Falls for 35 years until retiring, and was most recently a sales associate at the former Paper Scene, Seekonk. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. Grace loved animals and had adopted a greyhound.

CENTRAL FALLS - Elaine C. Baskins, 66, passed peacefully with her loving family by her side on May 9th.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was a daughter of the Alice (Banna) Hindy of North Providence and the late Joseph Hindy.
Elaine was a loving and caring mother and grandmother, and was known for her beautiful voice and generous ways.

NORTH PROVIDENCE - Janice M. (Banach) Feuti, 70, of North Providence passed away on May 6, surrounded by her beloved family.
She leaves her husband Ernest Feuti, daughter Nicole and son Jason. She is also survived by her beloved sisters, brothers and grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 10 at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston Street and burial will follow at St. Ann Cemetery.

CUMBERLAND - Alex "Red" E. Krueger, 85 of Arnolds Mills Road, Cumberland, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence. He was the husband of the late Elaine F. (Parmeter) Krueger.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Alexander Krueger and Jeannette (Turner) Hardman. He resided in Cumberland for the past 60 years. previously residing in Pawtucket.
