Necole L. Tessier
PAWTUCKET - Necole L. Tessier, 27, of Pawtucket, died on Friday at Memorial Hospital in Pawtucket. She was the daughter of Rene R. and Denise (Dussault) Tessier and a lifelong resident of Pawtucket. Necole was a great computer enthusiast who also enjoyed video games.
Survivors are her parents and one brother, Christopher Tessier, and his fiancĂ© and family, all of Pawtucket, and her grandmother, Mary Tessier of Central Falls, also aunts, uncles and cousins.
Marguerite L. Burke
CUMBERLAND - Marguerite L. Burke, 73, formerly of Cumberland and Pawtucket passed away Saturday, January 15, 2011.
Born in Central Falls she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Isabelle (Dorrian) LeBlanc. Mrs. Burke worked as a Case Worker for the State of RI for over twenty years before retiring.
Victor A. Fontaine
CENTRAL FALLS - Victor A. Fontaine 92, passed January 14, 2011.
Born in Central Falls, the son of the late Victor and Eva (Marchand) Fontaine. Victor lived in Central Falls his entire life. He was employed by Cumberland Engineering for over 30 years before retiring.
Mary E. Goudreau
PAWTUCKET - Mary E. Goudreau, 83 died Wednesday January 12, 2011 surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late William E. Goudreau, Sr.
Born in East Providence a daughter of the late John F. Cook, Sr. and the late Lena (Hammersmith) Cook. She lived in Pawtucket for the past thirty four years.
PAWTUCKET - Catherine M. McNamara, 91, of Pawtucket passed away Saturday, January 15, 2011. She was the wife of the late James McNamara.
Born in Providence she was the daughter of the late James and Mary Ellen (Donovan)O'Lyons.
Mrs. McNamara lived most of her life in Pawtucket and worked in transport at Memorial Hospital for many years, retiring in 1981.
Ernest B. Stevenson
PAWTUCKET - Ernest Blake Stevenson 92, of Pawtucket died January 13, 2011. Devoted husband of Evelyn (Hartley) Stevenson for 67 years. Son of the late John and Emma (Piggott) Stevenson.
JOHNSTON - Alice Pendlebury, 103 of Old Pocassett Road, passed away Thursday in Briarcliffe Nursing Home.
Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late William and Margaret (Hargreaves) Pendlebury.
She was employed for many years at the former Standard Braid Co., Pawtucket.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Margaret Csisar, Bernice Colvin, Rhoda Swanton, Theresa Pendlebury, Florence and Ada Filippi,Beatrice Jubainville, James Pendlebury, John Pendlebury and Gen. William Pendlebury.
Mary H. Flynn
PAWTUCKET: Mary H. Flynn, 83, formerly of West Ave, passed on January 14th. She was the wife of the late James W. Flynn. Born in Boston, MA, a daughter of the late Walter F. and Pearl A. (Merrill) Hill.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda A. Auclair of Moosup, CT, three sons, Michael J. Flynn and John W. Flynn, both of Pawtucket and Brien O. Flynn of Jamaica Plain, a sister, Kathleen Grimes of Mays Landing, N.J., eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

CUMBERLAND - Mary H. "Sue" Whaley, 58, of Cumberland, died Thursday at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Ctr., Providence. She was the wife of Robert E. Whaley Jr.
Gertrude L. Desautels
CUMBERLAND: Gertrude Lucille (Palmer) Desautels, 70 Gone to be with the Lord this January 14, 2011, due to a prolonged illness.
Survived by her loving husband and best friend, Rudolph E. Desautels Jr.
She leaves behind her five children and their families, Donna and Richard Chaput of Panama City, Florida; Rudolph and Debra Desautels of Pascoag, RI; Robert and Suzanne Desautels of Panama City, Florida; Richard and Shelley Desautels of Pascoag, RI; Raymond and Sandy Desautels of Attleboro, MA.
PAWTUCKET - Jane Dyman 94, formerly of Francis Avenue passed away Friday January 14, 2011 at the Grandview Center in Cumberland. She was the beloved wife of the late Mathew G. Dyman Sr.
Born in Holyoke, MA she was a daughter of the late John and Carolina (Rynasziewicz) Pysz. She lived in Pawtucket for 34 years.
Before retiring she and her late husband owned and operated the former Sam's C.C. of Central Falls.
Rev. Dr. A. Kenneth Curtis
PENNSYLVANIA - Rev. Dr. A. Kenneth Curtis, 71, a long time resident of Towamencin, went Home to Heaven on January 3, 2011. He was the beloved husband of 50 years to Dorothy (Stevenson) Curtis.
Born in Pawtucket, RI, he was the son of the late Alton T. and Althea(Sweetland) Curtis.
Roland E. Lavallee
CENTRAL FALLS: Roland E. Lavallee, 73, of Binford Street, a loving brother and uncle, passed peacefully at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center of Rhode Island on Thursday, January 13, 2011.
Born in Central Falls, on January 4, 1938, Roland was a son of the late Elie O. Lavallee and Aurore (Robert) Lavallee.
George A. Walsh
CUMBERLAND - George A. Walsh, 78, of Pound Road died Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. He was the beloved husband of Loretta C. (Kiernan) Walsh.
Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Arthur and Madeline (Dooley) Walsh, he had lived in Cumberland for the past 31 years.
Mr. Walsh worked at GTE Corporation, Central Falls for 45 years, retiring as supervisor in 1994.
He was a Korean War Army veteran.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one brother, William J. Walsh of North Attleboro, MA; and several nieces and nephews.
Normand L. Boucher
Normand L. Boucher, 71 of Johnston, died Saturday.
He was the husband of the late Irene (Neveu) Boucher. They had been married 45 years. Born in Central Falls, he was the son of the late Alfred Boucher.
He served in the US Marine Corps from 1957-1962. Normand worked for Lebanon Knitting Mills for 15 yrs., Worcester Textile for 23 yrs. and Benny's Warehouse for 10 plus yrs.
CUMBERLAND - Yvonne Smith, 68, of Dexter Street, passed away Tuesday, January 11, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Edward J. Smith.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Alcide and Estelle (Ouellette) Plante. She was a life-long resident of Cumberland.
Mrs. Smith was employed as an accounts payable clerk for Teknor Apex for many years, and was the owner of the former Smitty's Restaurant which was situated on Broad Street in Cumberland.
Margaret M. Sidla
CUMBERLAND - Margaret M. (Mooney) Sidla, 84, passed away Tuesday in the Memorial Hospital, Pawtucket. She was the wife of the late Anthony Sidla.
Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late John and Lillian (Theilig) Mooney. She resided in Cumberland for most of her life.
She was employed as a secretary for Ann & Hope for over 20 years.
She was a communicant of St. Patrick Church.
Raymond F. Noonan
PAWTUCKET - Raymond F. Noonan, 95, of Pawtucket, died Monday, January 10, 2011 at Epoch on Blackstone. He was the husband of the late Anna (Wynne) Noonan.
Born in Pawtucket and a lifelong resident, he was the son of Edward J. Noonan and Anna J. Bowen Foley Noonan.
He was a 1932 graduate of Pawtucket High School. He graduated from Brown in 1936 and attended Harvard Law School with the class of 1939. He was captain of the 1935-36 Brown basketball team, selected for the all-New England team, and elected by his peers to the Brown all-decade team.
