Theresa I. LaPalme
PAWTUCKET - Theresa I. (Dupuis) LaPalme, 89, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, December 29, 2014. She was the beloved wife of the late Roland G. LaPalme for 65 years before he passed away on March 13, 2014. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Joseph T. C. and Eva R. (Doullard) Dupuis.
PAWTUCKET - Maria Pires, 28, passed on December 27th.
She was the daughter of Isabel Vaz and Antonio Pires. She is survived by three sisters, Maria R. Pires, Eugenia Alves and Stephanie Vaz, and a brother, Olavo Pires.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held THIS MORNING at 11am in St. Mary Church, 103 Pine St, Pawtucket. Burial will be in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited and may visit at the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, WEDNESDAY morning, December 31st starting at 8am.
Maria E. Rita
PAWTUCKET - Maria E. Rita, 75, passed on December 30th surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Norberto M. Rita. They have been married for 52 years.
She had been employed by Hasbro Inc. for almost 25 years. Maria was an active volunteer at Sacred Heart Parish.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Norberto S. Rita and Rui Rita, two daughters, Maria Ledoux and Jenny Green, seven grandchildren, Jennifer, Justin, Catrina, Stephanie, Devon, Andrew and Makenzie, a great granddaughter, Eva, nieces, Fatima Amado, Gil Avila and Lucy.
Ida A. Langlois
PAWTUCKET - Ida A. (Lech) Langlois, 91, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, December 29, 2014. She was the beloved wife of the late Gerard A. Langlois, Sr. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Belengo) Lech.
Ida loved sewing and was an avid Bingo player. She enjoyed going to Foxwoods and Twin River. Ida was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Barbara A. Oliveira
ATTLEBORO - Barbara A. Oliveira, 89, of Princess Avenue and formerly Brown Street South Attleboro and Clarke Street Cumberland, passed away on Monday surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Jack Oliveira.
Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late John and Catherine (Waters) Smith.
She resided in Cumberland for 23 years and previously in South Attleboro for 42 years.
She was an inspector for the FRAM Corporation, Pawtucket for 30 years.

Raymond E. Robitaille
PAWTUCKET - Raymond E. Robitaille, 87, died at home on Friday, December 26, 2014. He was the husband of the late Marie (Ferland) Robitaille and the late Marguerite (Dumas) Robitaille. Raymond was born in Pawtucket, the son of the late Henry and Cyprienne (Paquin) Robitaille. He was a machine operator at Collyer Wire, Pawtucket for many years until his retirement. He was an avid lawn bowler and golfer and a fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy.
PAWTUCKET - Normand Hebert, 84, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2014. He was the beloved husband of Marcelle (Beaulieu) Hebert. They were happily married for 59 years. Born in Central Falls, he was the son of the late Henry and Eva (Houle) Hebert. Normand was an electronic technician for Raytheon for 25 years, retiring in 1995.
Besides his wife he is survived by his children, John Hebert, Susan Dewitt, and Donna Barron; a brother, Rene Hebert; 8 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Josephine V. Terrien
PAWTUCKET - Josephine V. Terrien, 83, a lifelong resident of Pawtucket, passed away Friday, December 26, 2014 at home. She was the wife of the late Louis M. Terrien. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Marie (St. Germaine) Horne.
CUMBERLAND - John Hull 89, passed away Saturday December 27, 2014. He was the beloved husband of Stella (Koziol) Hull. They were married for 65 years.
Born in Pawtucket he was a son of the late Francis and Apolonia (Robak) Hull. He lived in Cumberland for the past 65 years and was formerly of Pawtucket.
Before retiring John was employed for 25 years as a Correctional Officer by the Rhode Island Dept. of Corrections.
Mr. Hull server proudly as a Chief Petty Officer in the U.S. Navy during WWII.
Gladys A. DeRosier
CUMBERLAND - Gladys A. (Zyons) DeRosier, 91, of Pollett St., passed away Saturday in Grandview Center, Cumberland. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward F. DeRosier.
A lifelong Cumberland resident she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Victoria Zyons.
James A. Hodgson
LINCOLN - James A. Hodgson, 87, of Arlington Drive, died Saturday, December 27, at the Holiday Retirement Home, Manville. He was the beloved husband of 63 years to Elaine M. (Dickie) Hodgson.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Deborah Dogul of Cumberland, and Beth Hodgson-Wright of Ponchatoula, La.; one sister, Lois Cooke of Greenville, and several nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late David Hodgson, and the brother of the late Dorothy Murphy.

J. Albert Newton, Jr.
EAST PROVIDENCE - J. Albert Newton, Jr., 102, passed away on December 24, 2014 at Hallworth House, Providence. He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth (Rodger) Newton. They would have celebrated their 78th wedding anniversary on March 20th. Born on February 6, 1912, he was a son of the late Joseph A. and Ruth (Brown) Newton. He and Elizabeth were residents of Rumford for over 60 years.

PAWTUCKET - Laurel D. Coulombe, 87, of Pawtucket, passed away Monday, December 22, 2014. She was the wife of Armand Coulombe. Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Albina (Baril) Trottier.
Besides her husband she is survived by five children, Paul, Richard, Robert, and David Coulombe, and Debra Gorman; two brothers, Frank and Maurice Trottier; one sister, Olive Gibbons; seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. She was the great-grandmother of the late Alexis Coulombe.
JANE F. NICHOLSON
PAWTUCKET - Jane F. Nicholson, 79, of Pawtucket died on December 25, 2014. She was the wife of James P. Nicholson.
Mrs. Nicholson was born in Pawtucket, the daughter of the late Wallace A. and Lola Baker. She was a relocation consultant for United Van Lines for many years.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Nicholson is survived by her sons, Kevin S. Nicholson and his wife Romy Sue of North Kingston, and Scott Nicholson of Pawtucket. She also leaves her brother Donald Baker and her three grandchildren.
