CUMBERLAND - Stanislawa Mach, 81, passed away Wednesday April 16, 2014. She was the beloved wife of the late Stanislaw Mach.
Born in Grodzisko, Gorne, Podkarpackie, Poland she was a daughter of the late Antoni and Apolonia (Matuszek) Markocki. She lived in Cumberland for the past 13 years and was formerly of Central Falls.
Before retiring Mrs. Mach was employed as a Machine Operator for the former Elizabeth Webbing Co. Of Central Falls for 13 years.

PAWTUCKET - Laura M. Roe, of Pawtucket passed away on April 22, 2014. She was the wife of the late Harry T. Roe.
Mrs. Roe was born in Pawtucket, the daughter of the late Joseph Terrien and Ida (Charpentier) Terrien. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her children; Linda Sequin of Pawtucket, Donna Hujara of Pawtucket, Susan Merow and her husband Joseph of Lincoln, Robert Roe of Pawtucket and Laurie Peloquin and her husband Robert of Woonsocket.

PAWTUCKET - Manuel J. C. Tavares, 73, of Riley St., passed away Monday in the R. I. Hospital, Providence. He was the beloved husband of Astrid (Antunes) Tavares.
Born in Cabouco, St. Miguel, Azores he was the son of the late Eduardo and Maria C. (Carreiro) Tavares. He resided in Pawtucket for the past 46 years.

CUMBERLAND - Raymond P. Lacourse, 72, of Cumberland, passed away Sunday, April 20, 2014. He was the husband of Kathleen (Drape) Lacourse. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Joseph and Eva (Bouffard) Lacourse. Ray owned and operated J.D. Lacourse & Son of Pawtucket since 1960.

CUMBERLAND - John J. Callahan, Jr., 86, of Cumberland, passed away Monday April 21, 2014. He was the husband of Dorothy (Holmes) Callahan. They were happily married for 64 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late John and Theresa (Scanlon) Callahan.
Mr. Callahan was a World War II Army veteran. John lived in Pawtucket before moving to Cumberland 20 years ago. He was a letter carrier from the Pawtucket Post Office for 35 years, retiring in 1986.

(Pond) Burnham age 97, died peacefully, early Saturday morning, April 19, 2014 at Cape Heritage Nursing Home in Sandwich, MA, after a long, heroic battle with Alzheimer's disease. Despite the disease, Carol remained a kind and gentle woman who was loved by all her caregivers.

She is survived by two sons, Vincent E. Folan Jr and his wife Ellen and David M. Folan and his wife Carol all of Pawtucket, a daughter, Susan L. Levasseur and her husband Gerard of Central Falls, 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Ruth Lizotte and Margaret Healy

EAST PROVIDENCE - Taupier, Elaine H. (Worth), passed away peacefully on Sunday April 20, 2014 surrounded by her loving family at the Phillip Hulitar Home and Hospice Care Center. She would have been 94 today as she was born on April 22, 1920.
She was the wife of the late Vincent A. Taupier (retired Pawtucket Police Department) and the daughter of the late Irene (Sanderson) Worth and Ralph M.J. Worth. She was predeceased by her sister Avis Golightly.

Mr. Mercier was born in Central Falls, the son of the late Maurice V. Mercier and Rita C. (Fortier) Mercier Holleran. He was the step son of the late Timothy F. Holleran.
Mr. Mercier is survived by his brother Ronald Mercier of North Providence his sister Elaine Holleran of Pawtucket and his son Ray Waterman. He also had four nephews.

Born in Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Jose E. Rosa (Esteves) Tibeiro. She came to the United States in February 7, 1971 and settle in Cumberland.
She was employed as an assembler for Hasbro Industries for 12 years until her retirement in 1982.
She was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church, Cumberland.

Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Reynolds Robitaille and Jane (McKenna) Robitaille-Torres. David resided in Attleboro for the past 21 years previously residing in Pawtucket.
He was employed as a laborer for the Teknor Apex, Pawtucket for over 20 years.

Born in Youngstown, Ohio, a daughter of the late Paul W. and Mary I. (Davis) Pelen, she had lived in Pawtucket for most of her life.
Mrs. Bejma was the International Traffic Manager for Teknor-Apex, Pawtucket for many years before retiring.

CONVERSE, TX - Mrs. Jeanne Helene Holcomb was born in Central Falls, Rhode Island on October 23rd, 1946 to Charles and Marie Doyon. She departed this life on March 27th, 2014 in Converse, Texas.
She is survived by her husband Robert Holcomb, one son, Robert Holcomb, her only daughter, Regina Meader, two brothers, Paul Doyon and Rene Doyon, and her grandchildren Troy Meader and Holley Holcomb.
Memorial Services will be held at St. Jude Catholic Church, Lincoln on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 9:30am.

JOHNSTON - Alfred H. Hauser, Jr., 87, formerly of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 9, 2014. He was the beloved husband of the late Doris Mae (Crompton) Hauser. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Alfred H., Sr. and M. Edith (Blezard) Hauser. Alfred was a disabled veteran, having served in the United States Navy, Seabees Battalion during World War II. He was the proprietor of Elegant Lady Beauty Salon, Providence for over 20 years and enjoyed gardening; tending to his roses and traveling.
