Norman R. Richardson
CUMBERLAND - Norman R. Richardson, 85, husband of Irene (Brulotte) Richardson, father of Carl Richardson of Warwick and Linda Straight of East Greenwich, passed away Thursday in Providence.
CENTRAL FALLS - Rita Lanoue, 78, died January 15th. She was the wife of the late Normand Lanoue.
She had been employed by the former Star Market, Almacs and Paramount Cards.
Rita was an active lifelong parishioner and Eucharistic Minister for Notre Dame Church, St. Matthew Church and then Holy Spirit Parish.
Katherine N. Hampson
CUMBERLAND - Katherine N. Hampson, 93 formerly Park Street, passed away Friday January 9, in the Mt. St. Rita Health Center, Cumberland.
She was the wife of the late George T. Hampson.
Born in Cranston, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Honora (McGovern) McHugh. She resided in Cumberland for the past 69 years previously residing in Cranston.
She was a member of the St. Patrick Seniors where she was the former President and Secretary. She was also a secretary for the Cumberland Democratic Town Committee for many years.
Eva E. Poirier
PROVIDENCE - Eva E. (Gauthier) Poirier, 93, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2015. She was the beloved wife of the late George Normand Poirier. Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Arthur A. and Eva M. (Wright) Gauthier, she resided in Pawtucket until moving to Providence in 1990.
Irene M. Rothwell
PAWTUCKET - Irene M. (Burns) Rothwell, a devoted and loving wife and mother, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 13, 2015. She was the beloved wife of Walter Rothwell for 55 years. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late George E., Jr. and Mary (McNally) Burns.

ATTLEBORO - Jacqueline B. Pelletier, 77, pass January 13th. She was the wife of the late Robert A. Pelletier.
Janet Barbara Schmitz-Riley
PAWTUCKET - Janet Barbara Schmitz-Riley, 70, of Pawtucket, died January 12, 2015 at the Philip Hulitar Center in Providence. She was the loving wife of William L. Riley, Jr. for twenty two years. Janet was born September 2, 1944 in Boston MA, a daughter of the late James Howard and Frances (Komnatzky) Schmitz.
She grew up in Foxboro, MA and graduated from Foxboro High School in 1963. Janet began as a waitress at Hale's Diner in Foxboro and finished working at Giovanni Jewelry in Providence.
Marlene A. Makepeace
PAWTUCKET - Marlene A. (Amaral) Makepeace, 43, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 9, 2015. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of Antonio and Maria (Lopes) Amaral of Pawtucket.
Marlene was a graduate of the University of Phoenix and worked at Daniele Foods, Inc, Pascoag, RI. She was a talented artist and enjoyed drawing and candle making. Marlene was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed kickboxing, fishing and board games. Above all, she was a devoted and loving mother. Marlene's three children were the center of her life.
PAWTUCKET - Pappas, Nicholas, 86, died Saturday at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence. He was the husband of the late Teresa (Lappin) Pappas.
A Pawtucket resident most of his life, he was a son of the late Andrew and Paraskevi (Verras) Pappadopoulos.
He was a facility supervisor for the city of Pawtucket for many years retiring in 1994
He was a World War II Veteran and a lifelong member of the Greek Social Club in Pawtucket.
Maria V. Medeiros
PAWTUCKET - Maria V. Medeiros, 84, of Darlingdale Avenue, passed away Sunday after an illness. She was the wife of the late Manuel C. Medeiros. Born in Sao Miguel, Azores, a daughter of the late Joao and Maria Jesus (Rego) Carvalho Nunes.
Maria had lived in Pawtucket more than 43 years and had been employed as an assembler at the former American Insulated Wire Co. for many years before retiring.
Leo R. Laliberte
PAWTUCKET - Leo R. Laliberte, 85, of Oriole Avenue, Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, and friend to many, died peacefully on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 after a brief hospitalization surrounded by his family. He was the husband of the late Arlene F. (Gately) Laliberte for 54 years. Born on July 31, 1929, a son of the late Armand and Ernestine (Carrier) Laliberte, he has been a life-long resident of Pawtucket.
PAWTUCKET - Lillian Joseph 87, one of 14 children born to Manuel and Janet (Howard) Joseph, passed away Friday at The Holiday Retirement Home after an illness. She had lived in Central Falls many years and moved to Pawtucket in 1983. Lillian had been employed at the former Moore Fabrics and also at Conrad Javis Mfg. many years before retiring in 1992. She was an avid bingo player.
Joseph R. Trudel
PAWTUCKET - Joseph R. "Bob" Trudel, 78, passed on December 22nd in Florida. He was the husband of the late Elize Trudel.
Bob was a lifelong entrepreneur. He also served in the US Army, was former president of the Pawtucket Kiwanis Club, a 3rd Degree Knight of Columbus as well as a member of the DAV.
James F. Baron
CUMBERLAND - James F. "Jim" Baron, 57, of Bear Hill Road, died Monday, January 5th, at Miriam Hospital, Providence. He was the beloved husband of seventeen years of Denise Perreault.
Born in Pawtucket, a son of Mary M. (Wilkie) Baron of Lincoln, and the late Robert Baron, he grew up in Lincoln and had lived in Cumberland for the past twenty years.
Charles L. Hatch
LINCOLN - Charles L. Hatch Sr., 82 passed on January 8th. He was the husband of Natalie (Cambria) Hatch. They have been married for 57 years.
He had been employed by Sayles Finishing Plant, was a former Horse Trainer and previous proprietor of Lincoln Pest Control. Charles was also a Free Mason and an avid golfer.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Charles L. Hatch Jr. and his wife Suzanne and David M. Hatch and his wife Debra, six grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
Rita "Bunny" Rondeau
NORTH KINGSTOWN - Rita "Bunny" (Bonneau) Rondeau, of North Kingstown, formerly of Delray Beach, FL, passed away on January 7th. Bunny was predeceased by her husband, Armand Rondeau, and her parents, Alberic and Alice Bonneau. Prior to living in Florida, she was a resident of South Attleboro, MA. She and her husband ran the Hi-D-Ho shop. She was a very creative and talented person, whose interests included decoupage and vue d'optique.
Robert J. Daigle
SIMSBURY, CT - Robert J. Daigle, "Bob", recent resident of Governor's House, Simsbury, CT, died peacefully on Monday, January 5, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford Ct. He happily celebrate his 95th birthday on Christmas day with family and friends.
Bob, a longtime resident of Central Falls, R.I. resided at Wilfred Manor for over 20 years before relocating to Simsbury, Ct. to be near his son and daughter-in-law.
Odocea C. Nunes
PAWTUCKET - Odocea C. (Rebelo) Nunes, 87, of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 4th at Memorial Hospital of RI, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Armindo M. Nunes for 62 years. Born in Pawtucket on July 2, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Herminia Rebelo.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Maj. Fernando J. Nunes, US Army (Ret), her sister Maria Fonseca and her brother Antonio Rebelo.
Jeannine M. Taylor
CENTRAL FALLS - Jeannine Marie Marguerite (Lafond) Taylor, age 79, of Central Falls, RI, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2015 at Saint Antoine's Residence in North Smithfield.
Jeannine was born on Shawmut Avenue in Central Falls on November 5, 1935; she was the oldest of three children to the late Homer and Lucille (Dery) Lafond.
CUMBERLAND - Rita (Carr) Dennett, 94, formerly of Cumberland, passed away Wednesday at the Life Care Center of Attleboro. She was the former wife of George H. Dennett.
Born in Central Falls, RI she was the daughter of the late George and Florence (Schofield) Carr. She resided in Attleboro for most of her life.
Rita was employed as Credit Manager for the former Pawtucket / Bell Fasteners for 17 years until her retirement. She was previously the co-owner of Connelly Gold Stamping Company.
She loved to cook and entertain family and friends.
